Air conditioning done right, by a local team

Whether you’re cooling a single bedroom or a whole four-bedroom home, the difference between a system that just works and one that fights you for years comes down to two things: choosing the right unit, and installing it properly. We do both — and because we’re licensed electricians too, the wiring, circuits and switchboard side is handled by the same team, on the same visit.

We look after homes across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Cessnock and Port Stephens — and we size, place and wire every install for the home it’s actually going into.

Get it right the first time

Choosing the right system for your home

The most expensive mistake we see is a system chosen on price rather than fit. Undersized, it runs flat out and never gets there; oversized, it short-cycles, wastes power and leaves the air clammy. When we quote, we look at what actually changes the result:

  • Room size & ceiling height — the real volume of air, not just floor area.
  • Aspect & glazing — a west-facing living room takes far more than a shaded bedroom.
  • Insulation & the age of the home — a 1970s brick home behaves nothing like a new build.
  • How you actually live — one room at night, or open-plan comfort all day.

 Why our installs last

What sets our air conditioning apart

Sized right

We calculate the capacity your rooms actually need — comfortable on the worst days, without overspending on a unit that’s too big.

A brand to suit you

We install and service Fujitsu, Mitsubishi Electric, Samsung, Midea, TECO and ActronAir — so we can match the right system to your budget and your home.

Efficient to run

A right-sized inverter, set up properly and zoned to the rooms you use, costs a fraction of a poorly configured system to run through summer.

Built for the coast

Near the water, salt air is the silent killer of outdoor units. We position and protect condensers to give them the longest possible life.

One team, two trades

We’re licensed for air con and electrical — so it’s all done in-house. No separate sparky, no subbing it out, no finger-pointing between trades.

Upfront fixed quotes

A clear, fixed price in writing before we start — unit, install and any electrical work spelled out. No call-out games or hourly surprises.

 Our point of difference

One team for the air con and the electrical

Nearly every install has an electrical side — a dedicated circuit, an isolator, sometimes a switchboard that needs bringing up to standard before it can safely carry the load. Because we’re licensed electricians as well (NSW licence no. to be confirmed), we handle all of it ourselves.

No waiting on a separate sparky, no finger-pointing between trades, and no surprise bill from a third party halfway through the job. One quote, one team, done properly.

 FAQs

Air conditioning questions, answered

How much does it cost to install air conditioning in Newcastle?
A single wall-mounted split for a bedroom is at the affordable end; a fully zoned ducted system for a large home is a bigger investment. Price depends on the unit, the number of rooms and the electrical work involved — which is why we give a fixed price after understanding your home, rather than a number that changes later.
What size air conditioner do I need?
It’s measured in kilowatts and depends on room size, ceiling height, windows, aspect and insulation — not just floor area. A small bedroom might need 2.5kW while a large open-plan living area can need 7–9kW. We size it properly rather than guess.
Ducted or split system — which is better?
Neither is better outright — they suit different homes. Splits are cost-effective for one or two rooms; ducted gives whole-home comfort and suits larger homes and new builds. See our full ducted vs split comparison.
How often should I service my air conditioner?
For most homes, once a year is ideal — more often if you’re near the coast or run the system hard. Cleaning the filters yourself every few weeks in peak season also makes a real difference.
Do you do the electrical work too?
Yes. We’re licensed electricians as well as air conditioning installers, so dedicated circuits, isolators and any switchboard work are all done by us, in-house.
Which brands do you install?
We install and service a range of trusted brands — Fujitsu, Mitsubishi Electric, Samsung, Midea, TECO and ActronAir — and we’ll help match the right one to your budget and home.
