New appliance? Get it connected safely

A new oven, induction cooktop or freestanding stove often draws more power than the old one — and many need a dedicated, correctly-rated circuit to run safely. Getting a licensed electrician to connect it protects your home and your appliance warranty.

We hard-wire and connect ovens, cooktops and stoves, upgrade the circuit where needed, and make sure everything is safe and to standard.

 What we do

  • Oven & wall-oven connection — hard-wired safely and correctly
  • Induction & electric cooktops — often need a dedicated higher-rated circuit
  • Freestanding stove connection — supply and connection sorted
  • Dedicated circuit upgrades — so high-powered appliances run safely
  • Switchboard checks — making sure the board can carry the load

 FAQs

Questions, answered

Can’t I just plug in my new cooktop?
Many cooktops and ovens must be hard-wired on a dedicated circuit by a licensed electrician — plugging into a standard outlet can be unsafe and void warranty.
Do I need a new circuit for an induction cooktop?
Often yes — induction draws significant power. We’ll check and install a correctly-rated circuit if needed.
Can you do it when my appliance is delivered?
Yes — we’ll coordinate timing so your new appliance is connected and ready to use.
